The current Michael F. Price Family Football Scholarship was established with a $250,000 gift in 2001 to endow the starting strong safety position, with All-American Roy Williams as the honorary foundational player. Since then, scholarship costs have increased nearly 450%. Scholarships are now considered fully endowed with a principal amount of $400,000. Thus, $1M of the proposed gift would be added to your current scholarship fund so that 3 total scholarships would be fully endowed for our football student-athletes.
By endowing scholarships for student-athletes at the University of Oklahoma, your generosity will ensure that future champions wearing crimson and cream are able to receive a world-class education while underwriting the increasing costs of tuition, fees, room, board and books. You are leaving a legacy on young men for generations to come and that impact will live on in perpetuity.
