What is the difference between Championship Points and Sooner Points?
Sooner Pointsare earned through opportunities including priority seat gifts, years of purchasing season tickets and attendance points. Priority seat gifts are non-tax deductible.
Home season and single game tickets are allocated using Sooner Points, with all members being ranked in descending order.
Championship Points are earned through all gifts to the Sooner Club. This includes tax deductible giving opportunities such as gifts to the Inspiring Champions Fund, facility projects, scholarship endowments and planned gifts as well as non-tax deductible opportunities including seating priority.
Non-home game ticket benefits are allocated using Championship Points. These benefits include the Red River Showdown, gameday parking, away games and postseason tickets for all sports. Benefits allocated by Championship Points result in all members being ranked by membership level first, and then Championship Points within the level.
