The Impact of a Facility project gift
We set the standard at OU and are constantly pursuing excellence. Facility projects are an integral piece of that pursuit. With no general university funds, student fees or state tax dollars, facility project gifts are how our facility projects are funded. Project donors can designate a specific facility project or scholarship fund to support or they can allow funds to be unrestricted and used for the highest priority capital project.
Facility project gifts count towards donors’ annual membership level to help you qualify for membership levels and associated benefits like OU v. Texas seating and parking passes for home games.
A facility project gift can be paid in one lump sum or can be pledged out so that it is payable over a 3-5 year period. The championship priority points (2 for every $100 given) for the full amount of the pledge are deposited in the account at the time of the pledge and remain at that value for the life of the account. Making a pledge can ensure that the donor is at a certain membership level for the foreseeable future.
